RnD Overview

The technologies were developed by world class experts in ultrasound and metrology in cooperation with many inter-discipline expert scientists from EU BrainIT group, partnering research institutions, neuro centers, private companies and organizations. Vittamed Technologies’s open innovation approach to R&D process resulted in creation of cluster structure around developed technologies where valuable inputs of different partners from multidisciplinary fields created added value to the innovative technologies and formed product value chain which is leading Vittamed’s innovative technologies to the worldwide market.

 

The core competencies of Vittamed Technologies, such as deep understanding of ultrasound physics were transformed to physiological landscape with the knowledge acquisition from other fields such as clinical research and physiological measurements. The cluster structure of R&D partners enabled new technologies to emerge in very difficult interdisciplinary field where complex physics, metrology, human anatomy, neuro-sciences and monitoring techniques had to merge in to the new field of knowledge. As a result break through non-invasive brain physiological measurement technologies were created. Innovative technologies were pushed forward by IP holder while partnering with many private companies possessing expertise in product development and commercialization. Common interest, technology licensing and contractual development joined pragmatic relations of cooperating organizations in to one cluster dedicated for break through innovation, which will set new standards in neuroscience and medicine.
