Clinical evidence
In vivo studies using an early prototype and the prie-market prototypes confirmed the concept and proved that no device calibration was required with Vittamed Technologijos approach. Further multi-center clinical studies are on the way. Vittamed Technologijos has outline approval from several large neurotrauma centres in the USA and EU to participate in a clinical multi-center study to assess the accuracy of the Vittamed non-invasive ICP monitor against intraventricular „golden standard“ ICP monitoring.
